A unique experience with your own roastery and coffee
Your own coffee for breakfast, for the conference and for the bag guests take home.
Your own roastery wherever there is a free 10 A circuit. Compact, single-phase 230 V with a current limit adjustable from 8 to 16 A, smoke cleaning without an afterburner, no chimney. A food safety plan template for coffee roasteries is included, in Swedish — registering with your local food authority is up to you.
Do you recognise this?
Your own roastery on site, without the hassle
The idea has probably been around for a while, or perhaps it is a new interest — but it looks complicated? A chimney, planning permission, premises that would need converting, and numbers that never added up.
Everything else at the venue is yours
The bakery, the beer, perhaps the charcuterie. Visitors expect the coffee to be yours too, and are surprised when it is not.
You have a shop with no coffee of your own to sell in it
A bag with your logo is the product guests take home and remember you by.
How it works for you
| Where it goes | In reception, at breakfast or in a spot of its own where guests can see it. 70 × 30 cm of counter space, about 30 kg. Seeing and smelling coffee being roasted on site is an experience. The machine works in front of guests — just bear in mind that it makes noise and gives off aroma at times. An alternative is to give it its own accessible spot where it really stands out. |
| What it needs | A dedicated 10 A circuit on standard 230 V. No chimney, no duct, no building work. Wi-Fi. |
| Who does what | Anyone on the staff. Fill the hopper, scan the QR code on the green coffee, walk away. No prior knowledge needed. |
| How much it makes | 1.2 kg of green coffee per batch in about a quarter of an hour at 10 A, so 4.8 kg an hour. Breakfast, conferences and the shop from the same machine. |

Do the maths
Add up three volumes that are often budgeted separately: coffee for breakfast, coffee for conferences and what you could sell in the shop. It is the third that usually surprises.
Compare before you decide
Can your premises take a coffee roaster without a chimney?
Eight points on the circuit, heat, humidity, fire and the authorities.
Installation and technical requirements
Circuit, dimensions, clearances, water and network, with what we have not measured spelled out.
This is not for you if
- Your brewing equipment is on loan against volume from your coffee supplier
- You pay less than about €14 per kilo today
- You need more than 300–400 kg of roasted coffee a month from one machine
- You have no stable internet connection where the machine would stand
If any of the above applies to you, say so in the form. We would rather say no early than sell a machine that ends up unused.
Frequently asked questions
Is one machine enough for breakfast and conferences?
At 10 A it roasts 4.8 kg an hour. Plan for about 12 kg of green coffee between two interventions and add up your volumes — if you need more than 300–400 kg of roasted coffee a month from one machine, this is the wrong solution.
Do we need planning permission or an environmental permit?
No chimney and no duct means no building work. Environmental permits depend on the country and the volume — in Sweden, for example, notification is only required above 100 tonnes a year, whichever machine you choose. Ask your local authority.
Can we sell the coffee in the shop?
Yes. That is often the part that carries the numbers. Roasting is food production and must be registered with your local food authority — a food safety plan template is included, in Swedish.
Who looks after it when staff change?
There is nothing to learn. No screen, no keypad, no controls. The profile is chosen by scanning the QR code on the green coffee.
Will it work for you?
Tell us what you run and how you buy coffee today. We will tell you what the machine needs from your premises and what it costs — including when the answer is that it does not pay off.
